Learn the four steps for planning and creating a publication; how to understand the Microsoft Publisher screen; create and modify text and graphic elements within Publisher XP.

 

 

Ongoing Activities and Courses

Complete a Craft

Every Friday (except school holidays), from 10 – 12 noon at Howlong Uniting Church Hall.  Cost: $2.  Subsidised childcare available for $2 per family provided by Wodonga Mobile Children’s Services (bookings essential - phone Louise Farrelly  6026 5794).

Bring along anything you’ve kept in the cupboard and never got around to finishing! Share some crafty hints and a cuppa with other crafty minded people. Make the most of the professional childcare service! It’s amazing what you can get done in 2 uninterrupted hours.

Storytime

Date: Friday November 26, 11:30am – 12 Noon at Howlong Uniting Church Hall

Cost: Gold coin donation.  (Please note that children are to be supervised by an adult guardian/carer)

Exciting children’s books read by volunteers, followed by an activity for pre-school aged children. Equipment supplied by Upper Murray Regional mobile library.

 

Howlong Walking Group

Meets at 9am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in front of the Howlong Bakery. All welcome! Bring your pram, kids, friends and neighbours. For information contact:  Eunice Young 6026 5354 or Julie Woodrow.
